Sahoro Resort Bear Mountain
Hokkaido is home to a great variety of wild animals, the largest of which is the brown bear, sometimes known as the "king of the land." Bear Mountain offers a rare chance to observe these magnificent bears in the setting close to their natural habitats. The 15-hectare facility is over three times the size of Tokyo Dome, allowing the bears to be free and active. Visitors can appreciate the incredible presence of the Hokkaido brown bear in the natural surroundings, and understand how the brown bear coexists with humans.
