Sahoro Resort Bear Mountain
Hokkaido is home to a great variety of wild animals, the largest of which is the brown bear, sometimes known as "king of the land". Bear Mountain offers a rare chance to observe these magnificent bears in conditions similar to their natural environment. The 15-hectare facility is over three times the size of Tokyo Dome, offering a grand scale you might expect to find in Hokkaido. Here the bears live relaxed and free. Visitors can appreciate the incredible presence of the Hokkaido brown bear amidst natural surroundings, and consider how the brown bear coexists with humans.
