2Rakuyo Waterfall
A waterfall found along the Shokotsu River in Kinsenkyo Gorge. The water volume is quite large, providing a thrilling view as the water cascades 10 meters.
Autumn highlights
Early to mid October is the time to view fall foliage. Varieties of Japanese maple and ordinary maple trees dazzle the area in vivid colors. The singing of wildfowl also creates a beautiful backdrop.
Winter highlights
There are many points along the walking trail from Takinoue Hotel Keikoku where you can find the tracks of wildlife. The frozen falls along the rock face is a work of art only seen in the winter.
